Longends Oast, a beautifully converted oast house in Marden, suffered extensive ground-floor damage when severe floods hit on Christmas Eve, just after a major refurbishment had been completed.

JP Bedfords attended immediately to assess the impact, arrange strip-out of contaminated materials, and ensure the structure was fully sanitised and properly dried to prevent future issues. They then managed the complete reinstatement of the ground floor, including new wall linings, flooring, underfloor heating, service repairs, floor boarding, finishes, and kitchen and sanitary fittings. The project was completed successfully, restoring the property to its pre-flood condition.
