JP Bedfords Team Completes Accredited Building Safety Act 2022 Training

JP Bedfords is pleased to announce that every member of our team has successfully completed the Association for Project Safety accredited “Building Safety Act 2022: PD & PC New Requirements & Competence” training course, and the whole teamed successfully passed the examination at the end of the training programme.

This comprehensive course provided our entire team with an in-depth understanding of the new Building Regulation regime introduced under the Building Safety Act 2022. Key areas covered included:

• How the new regulatory framework will function in practice
• The competency expectations for duty holders
• The responsibilities and evolving role of the new Principal Designer (PD) and Principal Contractor (PC)
• How individuals and organisations can evidence their organisational capability
• The upskilling requirements for PDs under CDM 2015 and CDM advisers

Delivered online in an interactive workshop style, the course encouraged open discussion, debate, and detailed Q&A, allowing the team to explore real-world implications and raise practical queries relevant to current and future projects.
