We investigate and provide solutions to all kinds of building defects including damp, timber decay and infestation to name but a few. Early inspection and remedy of building defects is imperative, if ignored these defects invariably manifest into much bigger problems.

Building defects occur when elements or systems fail to function, due to factors such as poor design, construction and maintenance, or changes in conditions. When diagnosing a defect we consider the surrounding environment, construction type of the building, workmanship and material used. We understand every building is different, every defect unique, and we shape our approach accordingly.

We carry out detailed investigations and exploratory work and where necessary will arrange for other consultants to provide their specialist advice, for example, structural engineers or mechanical and electrical engineers. All to ensure we can provide our clients with accurate, clear and actionable advice on the available repair options and their costs along with advice on how to prevent future occurrences of the same.

In addition to inspecting and identifying building defects, we also work with our clients to put in place a professionally supervised remedy, with a competent contractor to ensure they achieve an affordable and practical solution.
