JP Bedfords managed repairs to the lower ground floor of a hotel following an escape of water caused by an open dry riser valve during a minor fire on the fifth floor.
The damage required extensive stripping out and specialist drying before reinstatement could begin. All works were carried out while the hotel remained fully operational, with the safety of staff and guests prioritised. Repairs were specified in line with the building’s fire risk assessment and current building regulations to maintain and, where necessary, enhance fire compartmentation, all while ensuring the hotel’s facilities remained fully accessible to guests.
